Our Duty as Parents and Americans

What is happening to our country? We are losing our freedoms like water through a sieve...our Founders would be appalled at everything we have allowed to happen to our nation. Is there any doubt that we have grown fat and happy? That we have fallen asleep? Our liberties are being stripped and our country transformed into an unrecognizable place. I believe most of the problem has direct correlation to the undermining of faith and the family, especially in our public schools. The virtues that have made America great are eroding! Character traits like discipline, self-control, obedience and thrift (to name only a few) are looked upon as antiquated. They need to be resurrected! Who will be our next George Washington, the next Sam Adams if these values are not being practiced and taught to our children? We must be keepers of the flame of freedom, and train our next generation to do the same. I believe it is my duty as mother to my kids to teach and instill in them these values...to purpose to put God first in everything we do...to educate them about the true history of our country...and model for them true character and integrity. This a battle cry to all parents! Our country and our liberties are at stake. We must reinvigorate our own fervor for and spark a love of country within our children, if we are to survive as a nation. I invite you to join me on this journey...
